Connection

Today, My blog post is about making connection from the book to myself. A connection between the book Matched by Ally Condie and myself would be when Cassia signed up for hiking in the forest and up so hills. It reminds me of the time when I went hiking up the mountains in Banff, Alberta. It was a cold day in October of 2012. During the weekend of Thanksgiving my family decided we would go to Alberta for Vacation. We went to Calgary, Edmonton and Banff. When Cassia signed up for hiking because she knew her grandfather liked hiking and she wants to try hiking. It reminds me of when I went to Banff, I was so tired  of walking for hours I wanted to give up and walk back down but when my family said they wanted to walk a little more, I decided I should keep on walking. Me and my family end up not walking till the top but we had a great time. Then a few days after that we walked around malls and I felt so good that I walked more during the hiking time, I also kind of miss it too. So that's what makes me think, that when Cassia is walking around the forest and hills I think that she's having a great time too and thinking of her grandfather like me thinking about me and my family having a good time. To this day I still miss the time when I went to Banff. That is a connection from the book to myself when I read it.

  1. I had a similar connection like this one. It reminds of the time I went camping with my family and we were walking around a lake for like 4 hours. Even though it was tiring it was nice family bonding.
