Literacy Blog #3

What I like about the book so far

In today's blog post I am going to write about what I like about the book Matched by Ally Condie so far is how the officials pick their match because then everyone has someone they could talk to, and nobody is alone. What I also like about the book is how the author writes about how and what the main character is thinking about. This gives an idea for the reader a visual of what is happening and a how the character thinks of things (point of view) and makes it easy for the readers to read the book. I really like how the Ally Condie makes us feel like we are actually in the book, Ally Condie writes the book in a very detailed way to help us understand easily like what Cassia sees and what she's thinking about. Another thing I like is how the author also writes about the past and relating it back in the present of the event because it really helps us understand of why the event might be happening. I really like how the people in the society can sign up for activities like outdoor hiking up hills. I also like about the society is that everyone is pretty much the same (equally the same), nobody is lonely and nobody is too popular. But the most thing I like about the book is that it's very detailed and easy to understand. That is what I like about the book Matched by Ally Condie.

  2. I have to agree with you , because usually the more detailed the book, the more you can connect with it. Which usually makes the story a lot more interesting.

  3. That sounds like a really interesting book. I also like when authors write about the past and relate it to what's going on. It really helps give context, and can either explain a lot or leave you wondering more, making you want to keep reading to find out what happened.

  4. I also really enjoy when the author writes about the past and relates it to what's going on because then it is a lot easier to understand what's going on in the book in the present and it doesn't leave you confused. I also really like when there is a lot of detail in a book because it usually gives you more of a visual picture and makes the story more interesting.
